Aust Cai HongYing International Author’s Federation

Crossing Two Decades of Literary Persistence, Sailing into a New Era of Ten Languages

The Aust Cai HongYing International Author’s Federation is carrying a literary treasure spanning more than twenty years and bringing it to every corner of the world through ten languages.

It is not merely a name, but the embodiment of an enduring literary commitment that has lasted for over two decades. In the face of the sweeping tides of digital media, while countless publications have risen and fallen, we remain—and we now move forward with unprecedented momentum, preparing to launch simultaneous ten-language editions and to open a new era of global literary exchange.

The Federation is a truly international literary community, formed by Chinese-language writers scattered across the globe. We have always upheld a non-governmental, non-profit, and fully independent stance, dedicated to crossing geographical and cultural boundaries to safeguard and transmit the purest literary voices. Our flagship quarterly journal, Aust Cai HongYing, was first published in January 2005 (registered overseas, distributed worldwide). By 2010, it had issued 21 volumes, each serving as a concrete manifestation of our literary ideals.

Our influence and recognition have long extended beyond national borders:

  • At its founding, the journal received congratulatory letters from former Australian Prime Minister John Howard and six State Premiers, affirming its cultural significance.

  • Since 2005, every issue of Aust Cai HongYing has been formally collected by the National Library of Australia, entering the country’s official documentary heritage.

  • Since 2006, the complete set has been preserved by the National Museum of Modern Chinese Literature in Beijing, establishing a bridge for literary exchange between China and Australia.

  • Since 2007, our online platforms (Australian Winner Information Network and Aust Cai HongYing) have been included in the National Library of Australia’s digital archive (PANDORA), permanently preserved and regularly updated, and made accessible through more than 1,100 libraries across the country.

Today, standing on the foundation of more than twenty years, Aust Cai HongYing has already transcended the boundaries of a single periodical. It is a living literary archive, an international platform open to the world.

We have never departed. We are moving forward.
