[Music] Purple Eden - Original Lyrics and Music

This is my own original song and lyrics work—"Purple Eden." From the melody to the lyrics, from the imagery to the emotions, everything is completed independently by me, without referencing anyone.

The original intention of writing this song is to sing out the dream that is both distant and real in my heart: a person walking alone, searching for the unfinished fate of a past life, not giving up in the wind and rain, waiting for a "rainbow" that symbolizes hope.

The structure of the entire lyrics is very simple, without any showy techniques or piled-up allusions, but every image—“white clouds filling the sky,” “a purple Eden stretching three thousand miles,” “butterflies dancing and bees buzzing,” “purple mountains”—is not randomly pieced together; rather, they are scenes that naturally emerge after I have personally experienced nature and immersed myself in the mood.

It is not for "popularity," but rather a recitation of my inner world, a projection of an ideal world. If someone understands and resonates with it, that is a collision of souls; if not, that’s okay—because this song was originally written as a commemoration of my own dreams.

The experience and emotional source behind this song comes from the allusion to "Eden," yet it cannot traverse the three thousand miles of solitude; the image of "colorful clouds filling the sky" does not know that when I truly encountered a sea of purple flowers in the valley back then, my heart felt that kind of "speechless shock and quiet joy."

This song is not a technical work; it is an emotional record. It is a "sound diary" that I left in the world.

"Purple Eden"

Wu Chaohui's Lyrics, Music, and Performance

Searching alone for the fate of a past life,

Walking under the stars, reaching the clouds in the sky.

Raindrops gently drift across my face,

Stop and wait for the rainbow to appear.

At the end of the world, between the mountains,

Three thousand miles of purple Eden.

The gentle breeze caresses the face, and the colorful butterflies linger.

Purple mountains, colorful clouds fill the heart.

White clouds drift away with the wind,

The bee dances gracefully, with tender affection.

The fragrant scent penetrates the heart, you are right in front of me.

I am intoxicated in the purple Eden.
